The UWM School of Continuing Education will offer 2
mini-classes for
Landscape Design and the Washington Highlands Week 1: Dennis Buettner’s design projects include O’Donnell Park, Villa Terrace gardens and the gardens of the Wisconsin Governor’s residence. Dennis will share the landscape designs of Frederick Law Olmsted and others, social and political history of the landscape movement in 19th-century America, and changing attitudes toward urban designs today.

PhotoShop Elements 7.0 for Photographers Hands-On Workshop Prerequisite: Digital
Photography, working knowledge of Windows or Mac OS. Instructor Chris Pollack is a published, award winning photographer who has extensive photography experience and technical expertise. He will guide you through PhotoShop Elements to assist you in making your digital photos come alive. Learn how to soften edges, adjust lighting and color, remove blemishes and touch-up photos. Each class participant will have a laptop to work on during the class. Please bring your own photos on a CD or flash drive. 2 Thursdays, November 5 and
