SIRS Knowledge Source is an integrated online search interface for three reference databases:
SIRS Researcher
This database contains thousands of full-text articles
exploring social, scientific, health, historic, economic, business, political
and global issues selected from more than 1,500 domestic and
international newspapers, magazines, journals and U.S. government publications.
SIRS Government Reporter
A valuable tool for researching current and historic government
documents; landmark and recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions; information about
federal departments, agencies, elected leaders, foreign affairs, politics,
economics and more.
SIRS Renaissance -- Current
Perspectives on the Arts & Humanitites
Provides current, dynamic information on music , literature, film, performing
arts, culture, architecture, philosophy, religion and visual arts.
To access SIRS from home, you will need:

to be a resident of the City of Wauwatosa and to have a valid library card. (If you have an older card that begins with "DD..." you need to get a newer one to use this and some other online library resources.

If you have your card and your PIN, just click here to go to the list of available databases on the Milwaukee County Federated Library System's web site, then select Wauwatosa and then select "SIRS Knowledge Source."
